The kitchen re-do is finished - I am just waiting for one light fixture to arrive for over the kitchen table. I won't keep you waiting any longer. It was not a great day for taking photos for me, it was dreary and raining. The lighting wasn't great so the pictures are a little on the dark side. The kitchen shows much better in the sun light. Rather then postpone putting up this post I tried my best to get some decent photos for you. I will be doing a more in depth post next week with all the info in detail. For now at least you can see what I have been up to these last couple of weeks.

it was a lot of hard work and we needed to use many of the resources that we had on hand. We could not have not done it all without the generous help of Megan's Father in law and our Carpenter John. (especially taking down that scary ceiling fan) Megan also allowed me to move the refrigerator into the mud room off the kitchen which gave the area needed space. Plus she had lots of very cool accessories that I pulled from different rooms in her home and used them to accessorize the kitchen.
this is what the kitchen looks like now
the new look is sort of

I will have part two posted soon, hopefully with better lighting. I am also going to give you step by step instructions to creating your own industrial farm table base from parts that you can purchase at a plumbing supply store. It is easy and affordable - plus it only takes about 15 minutes to put together. Have a great weekend, Lori
AMAZING redo--I absolutely love it and give you kudos for using such a small budget. Great job!
